Review : Savage Delight (Lovely Vicious #2) By Sara Wolf

Summary :

Light meets dark. Secrets meet truth.

It's been three years, twenty-five weeks, and five days since Isis Blake fell in love, and if she has it her way, it'll stretch into infinity.

After a run-in with her mom’s ex-boyfriend, she scrabbles to remember what she’s lost to amnesia. Her ex-nemesis Jack falls deeper into a pit of despair, and his girlfriend Sophia does all she can to keep him to herself. But as Isis’ memories return, she finds it harder and harder to resist what she felt for Jack, and Jack finds it impossible to stay away from the only girl who’s ever melted the ice around his heart.

As the dark secrets surrounding Sophia emerge, Isis realizes Jack isn’t who she thought he was. He’s dangerous. But when Isis starts receiving terrifying emails from an anonymous source, that danger might be the only thing protecting her from something far more threatening.

Her past.

Review :

WOW! I need the next book like RIGHT NOW!!

Jack has found Isis. Jack cares for Isis maybe even loves her but she can't remember. This is where this book picks up where the last book ends. Jack is trying hard to forget Isis. Meantime Sophie his childhood love who he is feeling guilty about and who is not all that nice becomes Isis's friend. Why? I think to get close that keep the enemies close idea. She doesn't love Jack the way she used to but also doesn't want anyone to have Jack. She drives a wedge between them which is hard since Isis can't remember Jack.

As Isis gains back her memories and feelings, she does things to figure Jack out. This can hurt him but also her. We know Isis is in danger not from Jack but from her past. The past that has made her this cold shell that jokes from insecurity and thinking that no one can like her because she is fat and ugly. Jack likes her though. Jack may even love her. As she finds out more about him she also finds out less. Jack is the one that kept her mother going when she was in the hospital. Jack is the one that is doing unspeakable things to get money for Sophie's surgery to keep her alive. Jack is the one she cares for but doesn't want to admit it.

Another great book filled with humor, attraction, discovering buried secrets and monsters. Love all the characters and want more. Great job on the story line, kept me wanting more as I read.A book that will leave you hanging on that cliff hoping beyond hope that Jack isn't broken for good and that Isis can save him.
